Limbus Company Patch Notes: Ver. 1.115.0 Hotfix
Ver. 1.115.0 hotfix entries, the Save Restoration route and its limits, the open known issues, and what the Sep. 24th update pulled back.
Ver. 1.115.0 shipped with a hotfix for part of its open issue list, a Save Restoration function reached from the Sisyphe settings tab, and one improvement pulled back out of the update.
Ver. 1.115.0 shipped in the Sep. 24th, 2026 Scheduled Update. The hotfix that followed the same day covers part of that build’s open issue list and adds a Save Restoration function, while one improvement announced for the update was pulled back out before it landed.
What the hotfix covers
Hotfix entries are grouped by the area they concern. “General” below marks an entry that carries no area tag, and the known-issue table further down uses the same convention.
| Area | Entry |
|---|---|
| General | Fixed an issue where maps on certain floors would be partially cropped when playing the game at a resolution with a narrower aspect ratio |
| The Symbolic | (The Symbolic) Fixed an issue where entities belonging to a certain faction could neither attack nor be attacked |
| General | Fixed typos and text errors identified following the update |
| The Symbolic | (The Symbolic) Fixed an issue where unintended text would be displayed when interacting with a certain object during the early portion of the content |
| General | Fixed an issue where certain unintended text would be displayed in the main story |
| General | Fixed an issue where the Panic-state flavor texts were missing for certain units |
| The Symbolic | (The Symbolic) Prevented certain units from becoming killable until a certain quest is completed |
| The Symbolic | (The Symbolic) Fixed an issue where quest progression would become impossible if a certain unit was defeated first while the quest is in progress |
| The Symbolic | (The Symbolic) Fixed an issue where, under certain conditions, the screen would fade to black, and the player would lose all held Items |
The Save Restoration function
This is the part of the hotfix aimed at managers who are stuck rather than at cosmetic problems.
- A “Save Restoration” function will be added to quickly resolve any quest soft-locking issues in Canto X.
- Using this function will allow the user to reload the game to the latest savepoint.
-
-
- You may preview your progress at that savepoint before choosing to restore to that point.
The route is Settings - Select the “Restore Save” button at the bottom of the Sisyphe tab.
The function comes with four limits, and this page lists all of them, because a patch-notes page that shows some of a function’s limits leaves the reader to guess at the rest. They are also why this page does not recommend the function as routine practice:
- The Save Restoration function is a temporary measure to resolve any existing progression-blocking issues.
- Please use this function only when a soft-locking issue has occurred; restoring a save when the game’s functions are working as intended may cause other issues.
- The Save Restoration function may not be able to resolve the issue if the user continues to play in the same save even after an issue has occurred.
- The Save Restoration function loads previous data from the same run. Therefore, the user will not be able to restore the save after pressing either the “Liquidation (reset)” or the “Close Down (hard reset)” button.
On the deploy window: Sep. 24th (Thu) 20:30 (KST), with a possible delay of approximately 10 minutes. The hotfix is deployed upon restarting the game and does not require a separate client update, although additional in-game downloads may occur.
Known issues in Ver. 1.115.0
The causes of these issues are still under investigation and fix development is underway. The last column compares each entry’s wording against the hotfix entries above; “not listed in the hotfix” means only that the two lists do not share the wording, not that nothing is being done.

What changed after the update notice
The update was announced on Sep. 21st, and the corrections published afterwards list one improvement excluded from it, two fixes the original list had left out, and one further known issue.
| Type | Entry |
|---|---|
| Excluded Improvement | Expanded object interaction range so that the player only has to be near the interactable object, and no longer has to look directly at it |
| Bug Fixes & Improvements | (The Symbolic) Fixed an issue where the corpse sprite would not appear when a certain unit died |
| Bug Fixes & Improvements | (The Symbolic) Fixed an issue where Quests could not be progressed if the timing of a transition to the Shadowed overlapped with an ongoing cutscene |
| Known Issue | An issue where scrolling does not function smoothly on the “Sapling of Light” UI during certain Combat Encounters |
The interaction range change was dropped because of an unintended issue identified under certain environments with one of the “Main Story Canto 10 Control Scheme & Feel Improvements”, and a notice will follow once it is ready to be implemented. The Sapling of Light scrolling issue is the only entry here carrying a fix date, and that date is the Oct. 1st Scheduled Update rather than this hotfix.
What is not committed to yet
- Because determining the causes of certain issues may take additional time, no concrete hotfix schedule has been provided for the open issues above.
- A hotfix schedule will be provided once it is finalized.
- Difficulty adjustments follow a period of monitoring gameplay trends, apply only to elements determined to require adjustment, and will be announced separately.
- Optimization-related tickets submitted by managers are under review.
Frequently Asked Questions
When did the Ver. 1.115.0 hotfix go out?
The hotfix ETA was Sep. 24th (Thu) 20:30 (KST), with the caveat that there may be a delay of approximately 10 minutes. It is deployed upon restarting the game and does not require a separate client update, though additional in-game downloads may occur.
How do I use the Save Restoration function?
The route is Settings, then the Restore Save button at the bottom of the Sisyphe tab. You can preview your progress at that savepoint before choosing to restore to it. The function loads data from the same run, so it is gone once you press Liquidation (reset) or Close Down (hard reset).
Are all the known issues fixed by the hotfix?
No. The hotfix covers a subset of the entries on the open list, and the table on this page marks which ones line up. For the rest, fix development is underway and a hotfix schedule will be provided once it is finalized.
What happened to the Canto 10 interaction range improvement?
It was pulled. An unintended issue identified under certain environments with one of the Main Story Canto 10 Control Scheme & Feel Improvements meant the expanded object interaction range was excluded from the Sep. 24th Scheduled Update, and a further notice will follow once it is ready to be implemented.
